Where can we park?
Our complimentary parking is behind the back of our building and if the main floor is full we also have underneath parking.
Can I walk in for appointments?
We welcome and love anyone who walks in for any appointments and we will try our best to accommodate your desires. However, it is best to call ahead of time to book. This will help both of us to make sure we make enough time for you and your services.
What if I am running late for my appointment?
We have a 15 min grace period. Our main goal is to keep all of our customers happy. If you are running late it is best to call and give us a heads up. We will try to move our schedules around and do our best to accommodate your needs.
What if I miss my appointment?
Please give us 24-hour notice for canceling your appointment.
If you miss the appointment without cancelling 24 hours prior, there may be a cancellation fee of $50.
Do you offer consultations?
Yes, absolutely and it is free. A great relationship between two people is all about communication. We would love to schedule you in the salon. For our long-distance guests we also offer video consultations.
What if I’m not satisfied with my results?
Our number one focus is taking care of our customers, we want to make sure you leave feeling satisfied. If for any reason you are not pleased with our service, let us know within a 72-hour period. We will try our best to accomplish your desire.
What is the return policy on products?
Our guests are welcome to bring back any unused, unopened product for a full refund or exchange within a 14 day period from the time of purchase.
What type of training do your stylists have?
At House Of Aitous, our stylists are trained at top international schools and are up to date with the latest trends. Because we carry a diverse clientele, our stylists know how to work with all texture hair types. They attend regular classes, hair shows, and are all licensed.
Will you remind me of my appointment?
We will send you an SMS notification the day before your appointment and remind you of your time and service.
How often should I get my hair cut?
If you want to maintain your length, opt for a trim every 4-6 weeks, since any growth on short hair is more noticeable than on long hair. If you’re ready to grow your hair out, you can wait 8-12 weeks to avoid split ends and breakage.
I have sensitive skin and can only use certain products. Can I bring them with me for my appointments?
Yes, you can. We are okay with this. If you like to give our products a try, all of them are paraben, sodium chloride, and sulfate-free. Oftentimes our products are also gluten-free – so feel free to check with your stylist or give us a call if you want more information on our products.
Is gratitude included in your services?
Gratitude is not included in any of our services, however, it is up to your discretion as a client. We do appreciate if you bring cash, or use Venmo/Zelle with your stylist as a tip option.
What does Aitous mean?
Aitous means “Authenticity” in English.
